According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Southampton is interested in Feyenoord defender Anel Ahmedhodzic, who has been permitted to leave the Rotterdam club. The Championship side has reportedly already made contact for the 27-year-old, whose contract runs until mid-2029. It is understood that Southampton is not the only club interested in Ahmedhodzic, although the identity of other interested clubs is currently unknown. The Bosnia-Herzegovina international, capped 24 times, joined Feyenoord in August 2025 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €10.00m.
