Pineto Calcio has acquired Danish midfielder Ank Asmussen, born in 2005, from Empoli Calcio on a permanent basis, with the player signing a two-year contract. Asmussen developed in Empoli's youth system before playing for Rimini and Ghiviborgo last season. The player stated that he found a serious and passionate club that showed great esteem for him and that he is eager to start working with the coach and his new teammates to repay them. The 20-year-old has a current market value of €50k, according to Transfermarkt. During the 2025/2026 season, his domestic league appearances included 34 games in the U19 Boys League and 4 in Serie D - E.
