Panathinaikos announced that Anass Zaroury has been loaned to Columbus Crew for one year. The American club has a purchase option for Zaroury after the loan concludes. The Moroccan attacking midfielder will stay with the American team until the summer of 2027.

The Columbus Crew have signed Morocco international winger Anass Zaroury on loan from Panathinaikos. The deal was completed on deadline day. The 25-year-old, who has four caps and zero goals for his country, has previously featured for clubs including Burnley. Zaroury, who also holds Belgian citizenship, joined the Greek club on July 1, 2026, and his contract there runs until June 30, 2029. His current market value is €7.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
