Anas Tajaouart, a 20-year-old midfielder of Moroccan and Belgian nationality, is leaving Anderlecht to join another top-tier club, La Louvière, on a loan deal. The Moroccan youth international joined Anderlecht in July 2025 and had been part of the first-team squad since the previous season but did not establish himself, making only three appearances. Sacha Tavolieri reports that Anderlecht no longer believed in the player and that La Louvière's new coach, Edward Still, advocated for his arrival, as Still knows Tajaouart from his time as an assistant at Anderlecht. The loan agreement includes a purchase option of €1.3 million and will be finalized after Tajaouart has a medical on Thursday morning. Anderlecht will continue to cover 20 percent of the player's salary during the loan. Tajaouart's contract with Anderlecht runs until 2029, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €400k. French club Amiens SC had previously shown interest in the player.
