Amine Et-Taïbi, a 22-year-old central defender, was under contract with KV Mechelen until 2027. After a successful loan spell at Helmond Sport, he secured a transfer to Willem II. Et-Taïbi was immediately loaned to Helmond Sport upon joining KV Mechelen from Club NXT in the previous summer. His performances in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie led to the transfer to Willem II.
