ESPN BR reports that the red-black president Luiz Eduardo Baptista, known as Bap, vetoed a move for Allan to Vasco and is prioritizing a deal with Corinthians.

Globo.com reported that the staff of Flamengo midfielder Allan contacted Vasco and coach Fernando Diniz to ask about interest in a transfer and that Diniz's response was positive. The report stated that Allan wants more playing time, as he is not being used at Flamengo and is not being included in match squads under Filipe Luís. Financial matters are an obstacle to a potential transfer. Allan receives a high salary at Flamengo, which is more than what Vasco pays its squad players. Flamengo is not willing to pay Allan's salary in a loan arrangement, and Vasco's management does not intend to pay a transfer fee. Allan would join only if Flamengo agreed to share his salary, an outcome for which there is currently no indication. The report states that there are no negotiations at present.

According to ESPN, Vasco is pursuing Allan. Allan is a 28-year-old Brazilian midfielder and his future at Flamengo is uncertain. Corinthians and São Paulo also pursued the midfielder in recent weeks, though their respective attempts were unsuccessful. It is reported that Vasco is attempting to arrange a one-season loan and is using the player's good relationship with coach Fernando Diniz to help the negotiations. Diniz has called Allan to assess the possibility of a move within Rio de Janeiro. The two had previously worked together at Fluminense in 2019. Allan is not currently part of Filipe Luís' plans at Flamengo, where he has a contract until December 2027. The former Brazil U23 international joined Flamengo in July 2023 and has made one appearance in the current Campeonato Carioca season. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is listed as €3.00m.
