Palermo has decided to find a new club for 24-year-old Serbian-Italian midfielder Aljoša Vasić, as he has become a marginal figure in the team, despite having two years remaining on his contract. The newly promoted Serie B club Vicenza is evaluating Vasić's profile to add depth to their midfield. Vasić was also linked with a potential return to Padova in recent weeks, but Vicenza now appears to be the most likely club to sign him. Vasić joined Palermo in July 2023, making 23 appearances and providing 3 assists in Serie B during the 2025/2026 season. The former Serbia U21 international has a current market value of €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
