Alison, a 32-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder, will join Criciúma for the 2026 season. He moves to the Santa Catarina team from Londrina, which he joined in January 2025. At Londrina, he made 36 appearances and registered one assist; his contract was set to expire on December 31, 2025. Alison, who developed at the Santos academy, has one cap for the Brazil U23 team. He was the team captain in the 2020 Libertadores final and also previously played for Bragantino and Al-Hazm of Saudi Arabia in the 2021/2022 season. The player is expected to arrive in southern Santa Catarina on December 16 for the start of Criciúma's preseason.
