Slovenian under-21 international Alin Kumer Celik has joined Rapid on loan from Genoa, becoming the club's sixth signing of the summer. The 19-year-old is a central defender. He is valued by specialized websites at 200,000 euros. Celik moved to Genoa last summer but has only featured for their Under-20 team without making a first-team debut. Before his time in Italy, Celik played for the youth teams of NK Maribor and NS Mura. In a club statement, Rapid confirmed the signing and announced that the defender was brought in to strengthen their defense.
