According to Nicolo Schira, Lecce have started discussions for a loan with an option to buy Como winger Alieu Fadera.

Lecce is interested in Alieu Fadera, a player owned by Como under a contract that is valid until 2028. Sky Sport reports that there are currently no conditions for negotiations to begin.

Lecce is considering Alieu Fadera as an alternative to Valentin Mihaila, with the final decision on signing hinging on financial feasibility and team suitability. Lecce's interest in Valentin Mihaila has been longstanding, as Mihaila's agent noted, keeping him on the club's radar. Meanwhile, Lecce's director, Corvino, has identified Fadera from Como as another potential option. The choice between the two will be based on which player is more financially viable and aligns better with the needs of coach Eusebio Di Francesco. Fadera, who is under contract with Como until 2028, has played for several clubs including Zulte Waregem, Genk, Pohronie, and Como, and has also represented Gambia at the international level.
