Ali Gholizadeh leaving Lech Poznań?
Persepolis FC has submitted a transfer offer for Ali Gholizadeh to Lech Poznań. The Iranian club had previously engaged in discussions with Lech during the winter, which was confirmed by the player himself. Negotiations are currently ongoing, and the general director of Persepolis, Reza Darvish, has received approval from the board to finalize the transfer. The club is keen on signing Gholizadeh during the summer transfer window, and the player is reportedly open to returning to Iran. The proposed deal includes a two-year contract.
During Lech Poznań's training camp, rumors resurfaced about Ali Gholizadeh's potential transfer to one of his home clubs. Esteghlal FC and Persepolis FC have been making efforts to persuade him to return. Negotiations are ongoing, according to Hatam Shiralizadeh. However, Dawid Dobrasz from Meczyki.pl stated that the Iranian will definitely remain at Lech until the end of the season. Lech spent record money on Gholizadeh in summer 2023, paying 1.8 million euros, potentially increasing to over two million with bonuses.
