Alexis Vega Transfer from Toluca to América

Récord reports on Alexis Vega's potential move to Club América for the FIFA Club World Cup. Alexis Vega revealed that there was a possibility of joining Club América as a reinforcement for the FIFA Club World Cup. Although there was no official offer, his representative had a couple of discussions with the club. Vega would have rejected the offer due to his focus on playing in the Gold Cup with the Mexican National Team. América was also eliminated from the Club World Cup after losing in the Playoff to LAFC.

América is considered a possible destination for Alexis Vega, particularly with the Club World Cup in mind. However, Toluca's vice presidents, Francisco Suinaga and Santiago San Román, mentioned that Vega is content at Toluca and they are unwilling to negotiate his transfer unless his release clause is met and he consents to depart. They highlighted that Alexis is more satisfied than ever at the club. Although the release clause is not particularly high, they chose not to reveal the specifics. Vega's impressive performances have attracted interest from several Liga MX clubs, following his key role in helping Toluca secure their 11th title. Despite this interest, Toluca's vice presidents reiterated on Fox Sports that beyond the contractual obligations, the willingness of both the clubs and the player is essential, and at present, Vega is happy and sees no reason to leave the team.
