According to journalist Lucas Barros, who shared updates on the social media platform X, the Brazilian club is advancing in its negotiations and hopes to finalize an agreement with Duarte soon. Duarte made the move from Cerro Porteño to Spartak in early 2023 for a transfer fee reported to be €4 million. Since his arrival at Spartak, Duarte has played in 65 matches across various competitions, contributing one assist. His contract with the Moscow team is valid until the summer of 2027, and his market value is estimated at €3 million by Transfermarkt.
