Alexandru Crețu is in talks with CFR Cluj as part of his potential return to Romanian football after his stint in Saudi Arabia with Al-Wehda. After spending a year at Al-Wehda, where he played 33 matches, scored once, and provided three assists, Crețu is negotiating with three Romanian clubs: Universitatea Craiova, his former team, CFR Cluj, and Universitatea Cluj. His return comes after Universitatea Craiova sold him to Al-Wehda for 600,000 euros in August 2024. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 700,000 euros.
