The 31-year-old Romanian winger was placed on the transfer list at the start of the season and received concrete offers from several teams, including Dinamo, UTA, and Petrolul Ploiești. Nevertheless, he declined all offers, resolved to fight for his place in the FCSB team. Gigi Becali, the patron of FCSB, expressed his regret over the squad management decisions made during the summer and suggested the value of experienced players like Băluță, even though he had initially excluded him from the team. Băluță's contract with the club extends until June 2026, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €900k.
