According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncouglu, Fenerbahce has renewed its long-standing interest in Atlético de Madrid's Alexander Sørloth for the winter transfer window. Atlético is open to selling the player and has set an asking price of 40 million euros. The same source reports that the Istanbul club is willing to pay this amount. The player is not strongly interested in a move to Turkey and is asking for a gross salary of 12 million euros. A potential move to Juventus a month ago stalled after there were changes in the Italian club's management. More recently, Trabzonspor has also expressed interest in the striker.
