Alex Williams, a 21-year-old wing-back, has been signed by Hibernian on a loan from West Bromwich Albion. The loan is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season. Williams is a right-sided Welsh defender and is Hibs' ninth signing of the summer. A product of West Brom's academy, he made his debut against Derby County last summer. Head coach David Gray stated his pleasure in bringing Williams to the club. Gray added that the player will offer more defensive depth and options on the right-hand side. The head coach also described Williams as a hard-working and energetic individual and a good fit for the league.
