As part of a strategy focused on players with expiring contracts, Almería has reportedly reached an agreement with Álex Sola, a 26-year-old Spanish player. According to journalist Ángel García, the Granada winger has committed to Almería for the next three seasons. Sola, whose contract ends in June, rejected a renewal offer from Granada of a similar duration after receiving a better financial proposal from Almería. Having joined Granada in September 2025, Sola has 2 goals and 2 assists in 28 LaLiga2 appearances this season. The winger, who has one cap for Spain's U17 team, has a current market value of €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
