According to Sacha Tavolieri, Polish vice-champions Górnik Zabrze are interested in Alex Opoku Sarfo. Sarfo is a 21-year-old Ghanaian defensive midfielder from Aris Limassol. Górnik faces competition, as RSC Charleroi is also interested in the player. Charleroi has offered 500,000 euros, but Aris Limassol is seeking between 800,000 and 1,000,000 euros. Sarfo's contract with the Cypriot club runs until May 2028. He spent the previous spring on loan at FC Pari Nizhniy Novgorod in the Russian second league. Sarfo has been capped twice for the Ghana U23 national team and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.00m.
