FC St. Gallen inquired about their former centre-forward Alessandro Vogt, with sporting director Roger Stilz confirming the club had spoken with Hoffenheim. The discussions never became concrete as the plan was for Vogt to stay in Germany, and he was subsequently loaned to Heidenheim. Heidenheim do not possess an option to buy the player, who is contracted to Hoffenheim until 2031.
