FC St. Gallen inquired again about Alessandro Vogt, a 21-year-old Swiss-Italian centre-forward who had left the club for TSG Hoffenheim in the summer, at the time he was being sent on loan. However, the discussions never became concrete, as the plan had always been for Vogt to stay in Germany. He was subsequently loaned to Heidenheim in the 2. Bundesliga, who do not possess an option to buy the player. Vogt, who has 6 caps and 2 goals for the Switzerland U21 team, is contracted to Hoffenheim until 2031.
