A club in the Polish Ekstraklasa is interested in Ales Mateju, a 30-year-old Czech centre-back. The club would be ready to match the 300,000 euro salary that Spezia currently pays Mateju. Negotiations have started and the deal could be finalized in the coming hours. Mateju, who has been capped 15 times for Czechia, joined Spezia in January 2024 and his contract runs until 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €500k. Empoli has also recently been linked with the defender.
