Sky Sports reported that Brentford are showing interest in Aleksandar Stankovic following his performances in Belgium.

Brentford and Newcastle have shown interest in Aleksandar Stankovic, a 20-year-old midfielder for Club Brugge. The player is reportedly not keen on a move to those teams and is said to be focused on either staying at Club Brugge or returning to his former club, Inter. Inter holds a €23 million buy-back option, and Stankovic joined Club Brugge from Inter in July 2025 with his current contract running until 2029.
