Aleksandar Stankovic Transfer from Club Brugge to Borussia Dortmund

According to a report from BILD, Borussia Dortmund is interested in Club Brugge midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic and is considering signing him this winter. The report states that the club fears Stankovic's transfer fee will increase in the summer as he continues to attract interest from other clubs. It also says Borussia Dortmund would like to finalize a deal with Club Brugge this month to potentially secure him at a lower price. The report adds that Inter has a buy-back option for Stankovic for 23 million euros, which can be exercised in the summer.

Aleksandar Stankovic, a 20-year-old Serbian and Italian midfielder for Club Brugge, is a target for Borussia Dortmund. A return to Internazionale is considered the most likely possibility, and Inter coach Christian Chivu stated that the club is following the player with interest and admiration. Internazionale sold Stankovic to the Belgian club for €9.5 million and can re-sign him for €23 million in the summer 2026 transfer window. Stankovic has 4 caps and one goal for Serbia. He is contracted until 2029 and has scored once and provided one assist in 18 domestic league appearances during the 2025/2026 season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €15.00m.
