Slavia Praha commissioned the analytical company Opta to find a replacement for Tomáš Chorý. Opta's data analysis, which sought players with a profile similar to Chorý, identified 25-year-old Montenegrin centre-forward Aleksa Maras from Košice as a player who resembles the striker in some aspects of his game. Maras was among a group of players who were not included in the final selection. Maras joined FC Kosice in July 2026 and his current market value is €450k, according to Transfermarkt.
