Alejandro Marqués Transfer from Estoril to Sochi
Sochi is in negotiations with Estoril for Venezuelan attacker Alejandro Marqués, 25, after submitting a transfer proposal. The Russian club's initial bid was €1.5 million, which included a 20% sell-on clause for any future sale equal to or exceeding that amount. Estoril, seeing a good opportunity for a permanent transfer, was not satisfied with the fee and countered with a demand for €1.3 million for 50% of the player's economic rights. This led Sochi to prepare a new, definitive bid of €1.75 million for 65% of the player's rights. While not yet official, this revised proposal has reportedly been accepted by Estoril. If the agreement is confirmed, final discussions on the player's salary and agent commissions will follow, with the deal potentially concluding in the coming days before Estoril's match on Saturday. Marqués, whose contract expires on June 30, 2026, has a market value estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.50 million and has also attracted interest from Polish clubs Pogoń Szczecin and Lech Poznań.
