AS reports on Aleix Febas's upcoming transfer to Celta de Vigo. The Spanish midfielder, highly regarded by coach Claudio Giráldez, will sign for Celta de Vigo when his contract with Elche, which he joined in July 2023, concludes on June 30. The club's director of football, Marco Garcés, has already secured the signing of the 30-year-old player, with only the final signature pending. Febas will arrive on a free transfer after Celta secured his signing ahead of competition from Espanyol and Mexican clubs. Although Elche's president, Christian Bragarnik, had stated his intention to try and keep the player after the team secured its league status in Girona, Febas will play in the Europa League for Celta next season. A few days prior, the midfielder had commented that he was still open to any possibility. His current market value is €5.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
