Akram Bouras Transfer from Levski Sofia to MC Alger
Algerian midfielder Akram Bouras is still a target for his former club MC Alger, which intends to re-sign him in the spring. The Algerian team had considered a loan for the midfielder, but "Gerena" is not willing to consider such a move or a potential sale. The club contacted Bouras with an offer to return. The talks were described as serious and constructive. The 23-year-old's request for a few days to consider the proposal was interpreted as a sign that a transfer might still be possible. MC Alger's management has indicated its intention to complete the transfer, which could involve paying a transfer fee to Levski. The Algerian club considers his initial departure to have been forced because "the Blues" activated his €400,000 buyout clause. MC Alger feels this figure is well below his actual value. However, a transfer is considered unlikely. Bilal Bari, the agent responsible for Bouras's move to "Gerena", recently stated that the player feels very good at the club and is prepared to stay for a long time. Additionally, Levski's management does not intend to sell key players during the winter, as they want to keep the team's main players for their attempt to win the title. Bouras joined Levski in August 2025 and has a contract until June 2028. In the 2025/2026 season, he has made 11 appearances and provided 1 assist in the efbet Liga. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €1.00m.
