AEK Athens is one of five European clubs interested in Levski Sofia's 24-year-old Algerian midfielder Akram Bouras following his successful season. The Greek club has reportedly included him on an expanded shortlist for the summer. Other teams said to be monitoring the player are RC Lens, Toulouse, Standard de Liège, and FC Bâle. The pursuit by RC Lens is described as being the most advanced. Bouras, who is uncapped by Algeria, joined Levski Sofia in August 2025 for a reported fee of €350,000 and his contract is valid until June 2028. His current market value is €1.20m, according to Transfermarkt.
