TEAMtalk reports that Rangers are in advanced negotiations to sign Akpe Victory. The Scottish club considers the ZTE player a long-term investment. Rangers' management believes he is a physically strong, composed defender with significant development potential. The club thinks the Nigerian defender could provide depth and future stability to the squad.

According to TEAMtalk, Rangers are progressing in their pursuit of Akpe Victory, talks have been described as positive, and the player is keen on a move to Ibrox. Rangers appear to be the leading club in the pursuit and are close to submitting a formal offer, with the deal expected to exceed €5million (£4.3m / $5.8m). Victory considers the move to Glasgow to be an exciting step in his development.
