Spartak Moscow is interested in acquiring Algerian defender Ahmed Touba, 28, from Panathinaikos and faces competition from CSKA Moscow. Both Moscow clubs have a high level of interest in the central defender ahead of the summer transfer window. It is considered possible that Touba will leave Panathinaikos this summer if the Athens-based club receives an offer it considers satisfactory. The website TransferMarket estimates the player's value at 2.5 million euros. Touba has 15 caps and one goal for Algeria. He joined the Greek club in July 2025 and has a contract until June 2028. He made 19 appearances in the Super League 1 during the 2025/2026 season.
