Ahmed Touba, the 28-year-old Algerian centre-back, was monitored by Monza in Italy and also attracted interest in the Netherlands, where he rejected approaches from both FC Utrecht and NEC Nijmegen. He plays for Panathinaikos, having joined in July 2025, and his contract is valid until June 2028. Touba has 15 caps and one goal for Algeria. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.50m.
