Negotiations for Talleres to sign 25-year-old Uruguayan forward Agustín Álvarez Martínez are at an advanced stage. Discussions with Sassuolo, the club that owns his rights, are in their final phase for a one-year loan that includes a purchase option. Álvarez Martínez, who has been capped 6 times for Uruguay, scoring once, joined the Italian club in July 2022 and has a contract until 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €2.00m. Monza has also reportedly been interested in the player.
