Tuttomercato reports that Cagliari has announced in an official statement that Agustin Albarracin has been loaned to Albacete. Sky Sport reports that Cagliari has finalized the dry loan of Agustín Albarracín to Albacete. The Liga2 club recently welcomed Munir El Haddadi and is now seeking to complete its attacking department with Agustín Albarracín.

Cagliari is nearing an agreement to send winger Agustín Albarracín to Albacete on a dry loan, after he was not included in the squad for the club's opening Serie A fixture against Parma. Albarracín wants more playing time after realizing he would not find it with the rossoblù, which has led to a solution with the club intended to allow for his growth. The club, which acquired the player for 2 million euros in January 2026, hopes he returns more mature after a season, as he still needs to adapt to Italian football.
