Kocaelispor is seeking to strengthen its midfield and considers Aguibou Camara a priority. The 24-year-old Guinean international is an attacking midfielder who is expected to leave Ludogorets FC, which he joined in July 2024. According to the player's entourage, the management of the Bulgarian club does not have him in their plans, which makes a departure in the winter transfer window seem inevitable. The player, who is under contract until June 2027 but has been absent from the squad since late November, has started discussions with several European clubs. A source close to the matter stated that Kocaelispor has contacted the player's entourage and begun initial negotiations, during which the sporting director inquired about Camara's interest in the Süper Lig. A positive response was reportedly given, with the clarification that the final decision is contingent on the sporting project presented. Other Turkish clubs are also monitoring the situation, along with teams in the Bundesliga. Samsunspor 1965, which had previously shown interest, is also reportedly considering the player again. Camara has 38 caps and 6 goals for Guinea and has made one league appearance for Ludogorets this season. His market value is currently €2.20m, according to Transfermarkt.
