Tondela has transferred Afonso Rodrigues to the Albanian club Egnatia on a permanent basis, while retaining 50 percent of the player's economic rights. The transfer of the 23-year-old Portuguese winger followed a period of limited playing time, during which he made 7 appearances in Liga Portugal in the 2025/2026 season and was not a regular option for managers Ivo Vieira and then Cristiano Bacci.
