Panathinaikos had a strong interest in Afimico Pululu. The transfer was not completed for various reasons.

Afimico Pululu will not extend his contract with Jagiellonia Białystok. The portal sportdog.gr confirms that Panathinaikos is showing very strong interest in signing him and, according to the same source, the Panathinaikos board has three players on their shortlist for a new striker, with Pululu being in second place. The Greek side intends to sign a new striker at the beginning of next week. Greek sources believe that the transfer fee for Pululu could be significantly less than three million euros.

According to Sportime.gr, Panathinaikos holds an interest in Afimico Pululu. Pululu could serve as a replacement for Karol Świderski, who has been linked with a departure. The contract of Pululu with Jagiellonia Białystok expires at the season's end, and an extension is not expected. Several Greek media outlets are also reporting on the interest from Panathinaikos.

Afimico Pululu has been associated with Panathinaikos among several clubs showing interest in him in recent weeks. The 26-year-old, who is currently with Jagiellonia Białystok, has also attracted attention from various French clubs, notably FC Lorient, which is leading the race after making an official offer for the striker. Pululu, recognized for his impressive scoring skills, has been on the radar of clubs such as VfL Wolfsburg, AS Monaco, Beşiktaş, and Rayo Vallecano as well. Nevertheless, FC Lorient's willingness to meet Jagiellonia's financial expectations, said to be between four to five million euros, places them in a strong position to secure his transfer. Pululu's existing contract with Jagiellonia is valid for just over a year, during which he has netted 35 goals and contributed nine assists in 87 matches.
