The Arab club has since communicated its asking price, and the Minas Gerais team is evaluating whether to formalize an offer. This is not Cruzeiro's first attempt to sign the player. They had previously initiated contact at the end of 2024 but did not proceed with talks due to the finances involved in a possible negotiation at that time.
