Adriano Jagusic's manager, Matej Skegro, stated to 'Sportske novosti' that he personally conveyed several official offers to the management, but the club was unwilling to consider a sale or loan. Skegro had discussions with the Panathinaikos directors about the future of Adriano Jagusic and the possibility of a transfer if the coach did not include him in his plans. A personal order from Giannis Alafouzos stipulated that Adriano Jagusic is not to be transferred. Panathinaikos paid 5.2 million euros upfront to Slaven Belupo in February to acquire the player's rights, and no sale proposal has been submitted that would at least match that amount.

A scenario exists in which Andriano Jagusic could leave Panathinaikos on loan in January to find more playing time and become a regular starter. This is reportedly considered a plausible scenario because of the additions in midfield and the current preferences for starting players.
