Sacha Tavolieri reports that Sint-Truiden VV recently approached RSC Anderlecht in an attempt to secure the return of striker Adriano Bertaccini. The offer consisted of a loan with an option to buy, but RSC Anderlecht refused the proposal. This refusal came even though the player is considered surplus to requirements. Bertaccini is a 26-year-old Belgian-Italian striker who joined in August 2025 and has a contract until June 2029. Other clubs, including Servette and Fatih Karagümrük, have also been recently linked with the forward. In September 2026, reports indicated that Anderlecht proposed a deal to Servette involving a €1 million loan fee and a €3 million purchase option, which was rejected. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.00m.
