Adriano Bertaccini, a 26-year-old Belgian and Italian centre-forward, and RSC Anderlecht are both seeking a transfer because the striker is not expected to receive many minutes under manager Vitor Bruno. A potential transfer to Servette Genève has collapsed because negotiations were stopped. The negotiations ended because Anderlecht's demands, which included a €1 million loan fee and a €3 million purchase option, were too high for the Swiss club. Since the transfer windows in Europe's major leagues have closed, the Turkish second-division club Fatih Karagümrük is a potential destination. Hertha BSC, Schalke 04, and Norwich City are among several other clubs that have been linked with the striker. Bertaccini has been capped five times for the Belgium U19 team.
