MTK has signed 23-year-old defensive midfielder Adrian Zeljkovič from Czech club Viktoria Plzen on a loan deal for the spring season, which includes a purchase option. The 3-time Slovenian international had joined Plzen last summer for a significant transfer fee following two successful seasons in the Slovak league with Spartak Trnava. During the autumn, Zeljkovič played in seven Europa League matches for the Czech team; in the domestic Chance Liga, he made 13 appearances and provided one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €2.20m.
