Wrexham is considering several players in its search for a new attacking midfielder before the Tuesday night deadline. The shortlist is said to include Portsmouth's 22-year-old Croatian and Australian winger Adrian Segecic, who is considered a potential long-term investment that could be developed for a future return. Other players also reportedly on the list are Bristol City’s Scott Twine, Ipswich’s Anis Mehmeti, and Romain Esse of Crystal Palace. Segecic, who has two caps for Croatia U21, is under contract until June 2028 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €4.50m. Portsmouth signed the player in July 2025 for a reported six-figure sum and now expect a multi-million profit. Birmingham City has also recently been linked with the player.
