Birmingham City are planning to make an offer for Portsmouth's 22-year-old Croatian and Australian winger Adrian Segecic. The Blues are expected to propose a fee that Portsmouth would likely consider for the player, who has previously attracted interest from clubs across Europe. Birmingham's move for Segecic comes after they reportedly turned their attention away from American attacking-midfielder Rokas Pukstas, who appears to have been persuaded by Middlesbrough. Portsmouth manager John Mousinho has acknowledged that Segecic's consistency could draw interest, which is now occurring with less than a week remaining in the transfer window. Segecic joined Portsmouth in July 2025 and is under contract until June 2028. The former Croatia U21 international has a current market value of €4.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
