Adrian Helm Transfer from Ljungskile to AIK
Adrian Helm, aged 19, has been officially presented as a player for AIK. He expressed his excitement and honor to join the club. The transfer was a result of a competition between AIK, Gais, and Mjällby, all of which offered Helm a contract. He signed a long-term contract with AIK until 2029. AIK's head of scouting and recruitment, Fredrik Wisur Hansen, praised Helm's strength and physicality, stating that it would fit perfectly with AIK, and noted Helm's impressive spring season at Ljungskile and his previous trial at AIK.
Aftonbladet reports that Adrian Helm has chosen AIK and is in Stockholm for a medical examination on Wednesday. AIK offered him a contract, and he was also considering offers from Mjällby and Gais. All parties have agreed, and Helm is expected to sign a four and a half year contract.
According to Aftonbladet, AIK is showing interest in acquiring the 19-year-old talent Adrian Helm from Ljungskile. The Swedish-Colombian player has been offered a contract by AIK following a recent trial with the club. However, Helm's current contract with Ljungskile, which runs until 2026, means any interested club would need to buy him out. Besides AIK, both Mjällby and Gais have also extended contract offers to Helm. The young winger, who has scored four goals and made six assists in 15 matches this season, is anticipated to reach a decision within the coming weeks. Helm's past experience includes playing for Trollhättan and being a youth player at the Italian club Lecce.
