Racing rejected an offer from Alianza Lima to sign Adrián Balboa, who had a previous spell at the Peruvian club between mid-2019 and mid-2020. Alianza Lima's proposal was for a one-season loan for the 31-year-old Uruguayan forward and included a fee and a purchase option. The offer was not successful because Racing will only allow the player, who joined the club in January of this year, to leave through a permanent sale. His contract with the Argentine club is set to expire at the end of December 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €800k.
