Lookman, who received the African Ballon d'Or in 2024 and is contracted until 2027, reportedly declared himself in rebellion by refusing to attend training at Atalanta's Zingonia facility. Despite speculation about potential interest from Bayern Munich and Tottenham, no transfer occurred. Atalanta remains firm on a sale rather than a loan with an option to purchase, adding to the complexity of any potential transfer.
