Ademola Lookman Transfer from Atalanta to Fenerbahçe
Ademola Lookman was unable to find an alternative during the summer transfer window, and with the Turkish market yet to close, Fenerbahce has emerged as a potential option. Lookman will remain at Atalanta until at least January, despite his efforts to secure a move to Inter Milan. Lookman, who received the African Ballon d'Or in 2024 and is contracted until 2027, reportedly declared himself in rebellion by refusing to attend training at Atalanta's Zingonia facility. He had expressed his wish to join Inter Milan through a letter on social media. However, Atalanta's CEO, Luca Percassi, had previously reached an agreement with Lookman not to sell him to another Italian club, effectively blocking his desired move to Inter and leaving him in a state of uncertainty. Despite speculation about potential interest from Bayern Munich and Tottenham, no transfer occurred. Atalanta remains firm on a sale rather than a loan with an option to purchase, adding to the complexity of any potential transfer.
