Journalist Alan Nixon claims that English Championship club Bristol City are also competing to sign Gambia international Adama Sidibeh.

Adama Sidibeh, a 28-year-old Gambian international, has been identified as a target for Bristol City, which is considering a move for him ahead of the 2026/27 Championship campaign. Fellow second-tier clubs QPR and Swansea are also considering a move for the Stockport County striker during the summer transfer window, with all three clubs aiming to improve on mid-table finishes. It is reported that interest in Sidibeh has intensified following Stockport's play-off final defeat to Bolton. The forward joined Stockport from St. Johnstone in January on a two-and-a-half-year contract and has scored 10 times in 25 appearances since his arrival. It was also reported that Swansea were interested in the player in 2024. Sidibeh has scored five goals in eight appearances for The Gambia, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €400k.
