Nigerian midfielder Adam Yakubu has been officially signed by LNZ Cherkasy from the Slovak club Trencin. The transfer fee and contract terms have not been disclosed.

Adam Yakubu has decided to continue his career in Ukraine, becoming a player for LNZ Cherkasy.

LNZ Cherkasy is in specific negotiations to sign 20-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder Adam Yakubu from Slovakian club Trencin to strengthen their midfield. Suggestions of possible interest from "Shakhtar" are unconfirmed. Yakubu joined Trencin in the summer of 2024 and has since played 33 matches across all competitions, without scoring a goal or providing an assist. The player is valued at 200,000 euros.
