Lens submitted an initial offer of approximately €10 million, including bonuses, for 23-year-old Adam Obert in recent hours, and Cagliari rejected it. The Sardinian club is reportedly unwilling to sell the Slovak international unless an irrefutable offer is made. Obert has 21 caps and one goal for his country and has been with them for six years. A new, improved proposal from Lens for the defender is not excluded. Cagliari demonstrated its intention to retain Obert last March by extending his contract until June 30, 2030. In response to the transfer interest he has received, Obert stated a few days ago that he feels very good and at home with the club and added that he is proud to have worn their shirt for six years. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €7.00m. He has also been linked with other Serie A clubs, including Fiorentina, Torino, and Bologna.
